Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Quick Tailsish was the first of his kind to be brought to the sanctuary. As a hatchling he quickly discovered he was among the fastest of types of dragon out running nearly every dragon that would indulge the hatchling in a race. As an adult, he will sometimes race others of his kind, but he doesn't like to flaunt his speed. Instead, he takes great care of himself and trains everyday striving to be the fastest of them all. Nowadays, he will only challenge those of his kind that have been said to have won many races but he will take on any who dare challenge him.
