Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Daughter to the former Keeper and the current leader of the Squadron, Aastell was brought up to follow the footsteps of her father Gilgasion. Yet being a 19th generation left her power weaker than some senior members, including the leader of the troublesome gang of The Warriors, Hamun to the absolute horror of Aastell. As the member of the first generation (third-born to be exact) Hamun's seniority blessed the Gray dragon with power unmatched by those of younger generations, and now as the Keeper of the clan-a duty she inherited from her father-Aastell is assigned with the cumbersome task of stopping Hamun from attacking other clan members: namely, Hamun's arch nemesis Nettraphim.
The grave discrepancy in age, thus in power, left Aastell little choice but to seek aid from her father. While Gilgasion is happy to help his daughter out, Aastell finds the support humiliating; she now trains ever more to hopefully restrain Hamun alone someday, like a true Keeper she was meant to be.
