Frostbite Dragons first appear at the beginning of winter, creeping in with the frosts. They have found their place in human lore as the spirits of snow, since they only reveal themselves during icy weather. In the depths of winter, they cover the world in blankets of snow and are believed to be responsible for the glittering frost that creeps over everything. Although they appear cold and distant, they are actually rather mischievous and enjoy spending time dancing through blizzards.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Icius spends most of her time in the frozen mountain peaks near where her father, Mister, lives (or where he often makes his temporary homes). She has learned the art of ice sculpting from him, and during the winter months, she will venture down to the Clan's more frequented areas and build ice sculptures down there. These will all melt in the summer, but she enjoys building icy playgrounds for hatchlings to galavant in. While she is on very good terms with her mother, Quickbeast, she unfortunately rarely gets the chance to visit due to her mother's living in the warm, tropical jungles.
