Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Stevinator's great powers are recognized by all the other dragons, and he is feared and sometimes resented as a result. He has many lady admirers, due to his macho charm and his soul-melting skills at playing the Medieval guitar. Despite his fierce and powerful external appearance, he is secretly a bit of a peace-maker, chastising those naughty dragons who try to stir up strife by petty gossip. Stevinator loves hunting, and likes to shape his prey into little patties, which he puts inside buns baked by his lady friends. He squirts blood onto the patties, as a condiment, to create something which might in today's world look rather like a burger.
