Canopy Dragons love to soar above the tropical jungles and other densely forested areas. Their billowing, layered wings create generous lift that allows them to ascend effortlessly over the warm jungle. While their unique wings do not make them the fastest flyers, they are champion gliders. To further this end, dexterity, maneuverability, and grace are all judged by the females when selecting their mates from the males that can accurately complete the exhausting and elaborate courtship dance between the close growing branches of the upper canopy.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Taking the nickname Cold, this dragon is part of a group of female dragons who live under the rule of two male Canopy Dragons. Unlike the rest of the female members, Cold does leave the forest that they live in. However, the female only goes out into the open plains when it is winter, which has caused her to have to be saved many times. Her physical body has been damaged permanently by frostbite because of this habit, with Cold missing clawed fingers and toes. Her wings are frayed beyond repair and she cannot fly.

The female has a rather indifferent nature, always shrugging off strangers and members alike who want to talk to her. The two male leaders, Gold and Silver, are the only ones who can really interact to her. While Gold just uses her, Silver has been known to speak to her quietly about things that are bothering him. The orphaned hatchlings who are held captive in the group find her frightening, so Cold never goes to see them.
