Skysilk Dragons spend their days drifting through the heavens, their voluminous manes billowing like clouds. Imbued with air mana, their fluffy fur is incredibly lightweight—so much so that it defies gravity, taking on a mind of its own as it puffs upward. This property makes them quite popular among avian species—birds flock together for the opportunity to play among a Skysilk’s fleecy crown. Docile and patient, Skysilks are quite tolerant of this treatment, with hatchlings in particular developing tight-knit friendships with their feathered visitors. Interestingly, their lustrous scales always retain their dull gleam, despite the frequent presence of tiny critters.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Muscadel is an assistant worker at Dezmoyn S's Skyward Repository. He's kind to everybody he meets and is good at filing and remembering things, but he often gets too into the details of a particular subject when he's asked for a summary, and he's often told to focus by his superiors. He's the second skysilk ever to be hired at the Skyward Repository, and the senior staff who remember the previous skysilk seem to like Muscadel simply because, unlike this other dragon, he doesn't recite dogma of the Great Purple or tell colleagues and guests what wrongs they're committing that prevent them from exaltation. And he cleans the bird poop from his hair before clocking in. Apparently, there was an incident with loose birds, stained surfaces, and an irate district director that has for years made everyone wary of breeds who keep animals on their person.
