Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a voracious appetite.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Savage Spin-Out spins a lot, sometimes twirling on all fours, sometimes rolling around on the ground. The thing she says most often to her parents in regards to her spinning is "It's an absolutely predatory spin-out!", i.e. spinning gets her pumped up to hunt. The thing she says second most often is "It's NOT just a phase, MOM!", but that is to be expected of an adolescent.
