Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Myrmecology's favorite spot to lie around is a hill. Unlike other dragons who chill on hills, this one is minuscule and filled with ants, so he has to be careful not to crush their home and hurt too many ants. There's something about these eusocial insects that interests Myrmecology so much. He's envious that a jillion ants can socialize and get along and that they bravely battle other ant colonies and fight to the death for their community. This particular hill, for no reason, has become his favorite to observe. He's aware that ant colonies may get destroyed by enemy ants or other animals, so every year when he emerges from hibernation, he's prepared to see his anthill changed or emptied.
