Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows brightly, and seems to prefer warm areas.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Moleworm lives underground. It's believed that she became comfortable in a badger's old home, then decided to add to it over the course of a few years. Her parents were glad when she became fully independent, since they usually had no idea where she was other than "in some tunnel". Occasionally, another creature will discover one of Moleworm's rooms, which contains mostly rocks, coal, and minerals, though it's rumored that she also has a much larger cave somewhere that contains her hoard.
