Blacktip Dragons are a small, shore-dwelling breed that tend to nest on sheer ocean side cliffs. They live in groups under a dominant female, who prevents her subordinates from breeding. During the mating season, a group of Blacktips can be very noisy and smelly indeed; males produce a distinctive musky odor and loud, low-pitched honking noises in an attempt to woo the alpha female.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
This dragon does not know what is real and what isn't. How it happened and why is known by none besides his owner, who has not said a word about it as of yet. His mate, Bleeding Ash, fears for him and is always afraid that he will hurt himself. His eyes look through her whenever she tries to catch his gaze, and her presence is ignored even when she tries to physically get his attention.
The dragon himself is very fidgety, always twitching and looking over his shoulder for something only he can see. He talks to himself and other invisible presences; any telepathic conversation by other dragons just brush by him as if they were never there. Dragons have to be careful around him since he is unpredictable and a few have gotten scars from his twitchy claws. The only good thing about his state is that Bleeding Ash is able to feed him and transport him to places without too much resistance. Even then, it's dangerous since he sometimes tries to throw himself off of her back in mid-flight.
