Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. She does it all the times and all the small hatchlings love it. Well, it's no wonder. Her bed time stories are all colorful and exciting. Because of that, other dragons call her 'Amabel', meaning 'lovable, sweet one'.<br/>Amabel can't even be called a bad fighter. No dragon wishes to take her along with them on their raids because she is so clumsy and with such a bad luck that her mere presence means defeat. Usually a dragon like her has no place in the Dark Sun where only the strong prevails. However she is still one of the elders that is respected and loved, because almost every raised dragon in the clan has at least once rested under her wings and listened to her tales when he was a hatchling. Not to mention that her mate is very powerful and has such a hot temper that no dragon wants to mess with.
