Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Velvet fell for Kheldar the first time she ever lay eyes on him, the only problem was that she was nothing more than a hatchling with freshly developed wings, while he was a grown dragon. But she didn't care and bid her time only taking a more active approach, when she saw Kheldar taking an interest in some female. Suddenly a whole flock of hatchlings would make that dragoness' life a living hell until she kept her distance from the vermin-faced dark Black.

Now a beautiful young dragoness herself Velvet is sure she can make Kheldar see things her way once she got it through his skull that she isn't a hatchie any more.
