Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Respa is one of the younger members of the Space Chicken Alliance. Her role in the camp is to help arrange living quarters for the individual families living within the camp. This is much harder than it sounds, because she has to place each family in a ranking system, and then assign the better places to the higher ranked Chickens. Those who have not proven their worth to the alliance are placed in the worst possible places within the camp to encourage them to better themselves and push to prove themselves to their leader, Kensa Jipci.
