Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A friend to the rebel leader, Pure Bred Crimson, Nerdock has helped organize the recruiting parts of a war group. He has been friends with the other male his whole life and, when they both lived under the control of their owners, Nerdock would help the Crimson bully dragons he saw as below them.

While he has left the control of his ex-owner to join a rebel group he sometimes thinks that won't win, the Royal Blue actually doesn't do it because he thinks it is the right choice.

See, the thing is that Nerdock has been lying to his friend since day one. The dragon pretends he believes in what the other dragon says, being mean to common dragons and snapping at haughty females and spitting insults towards dragons with different romances and sexual orientations. In all reality, the dragon does not like to be mean to others. He goes behind his friends back to apologize, though he is never forgiven.

There is also the ironic fact that Nerdock has a secret crush on the homophobic Crimson.
