Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

For many years, Blue has visited humans during "the holiday". He never stayed long enough to learn how they celebrate, but he's always been curious. One year, he approached some humans to ask if there was an activity he could try. They cheerfully described sending "cards", decorated paper rectangles, to friends and family, and they rattled off all kinds of things that can go on a card: reindeer, a sleigh, a tree, candles, sweets... lots of potential. Blue excitedly went home, and two days of hard work later, he presented his card to the humans. He had to admit that he couldn't figure out how to get large objects to fit, and the living ones had no desire to be glued to paper (the bloodied tuft of fur perfectly demonstrated that). Most of the humans looked somewhat uncomfortable, but they graciously accepted Blue's card as he apologized for not understanding their ways, and they kindly informed him that he need not expend so much effort and that simply visiting them would suffice.
