Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As a young hatchling awaiting a name, there was some sort of show of entertainment going on outside the cave, loud enough for those inside the cave to hear happening during the moment when this dragon would receive one. The keeper of the cave had run out of ideas for names as it got to him, and at that very moment the words "Return up to the--" were uttered outside, but the last word was for some reason not properly audible, and was heard as gibberish. Unfortunately for this dragon, the cave-keeper's policy of using whatever was last heard when there were no names left to give meant that his name would forever be the somewhat embarrassing and incredibly difficult-to-explain phrase, "Return Up To The Asdlsnfgf." This came as a bit of a relief, however. At least his name was not "UGHHHHHGHGHGHH." After some thought, he has deemed himself the leader of "The Asdlsnfgf," which he has decided must be some organization's secret base of operations. He has no idea what that actually means.
