When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fate Lies With The Sea is extremely superstitious; avoiding all Black Tea dragon hatchlings, stopping himself from spilling any sort of mineral onto the ground or into the ocean, forcing him and his friends not to shatter anything that you can see yourself in, the usual things. He's a full believer in fate. Fate will drag him down and pull him back up, push him onto dry land before he crashes down into the water once more, bring him to the highest of highs before he sinks to the lowest of lows.

He believes that his fate lies with the sea. It's a fickle life, one filled with sinful thoughts and capricious actions, simply because he believes that all dragons should be like the sea. Be as ever changing and omnipresent as the sea itself.

The philosophy hasn't gotten him very far in life, but he didn't expect it to. As far as he's concerned, it's better to live a short life of sensual pleasures than a long one of nothing considered fun.
