Siyat Dragons are extremely smart and have an excellent memory. They are very quick and will often dive through the air making chirps and calls for attention if they feel ignored. Siyat dragons are herbivores and need to eat a lot to make up for all the energy they use with their excitable nature. Groups of Siyat Dragons have a hierarchical structure based on the color of their markings. It is thought that the social status of a dragon is determined by its incubation period—in addition to having different coloration, dragons allowed more time to develop are considered wiser and of higher status.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

True to her name (which more refers to her color than anything), Army is a feisty creature who is always ready for a fight. She is extremely impulsive and excitable and will fly into everything set before her, be that a vicious dragon ready to attack her family or a big feast. She's infamous for this intense behavior that tends to drive most away. But those that do choose to come near and connect with her are often surprised to find a genuinely intelligent, thoughtful, and kind dragon who will dedicate her loyalty to them. Though her trust is a significantly difficult thing to truly earn, once attained, it is all but permanent. Army will defend her loved ones with all the fury of a raging bear. And, while she may not be the most physically built dragon, she is a decently talented magic user. Army tends to rely on the vicious gusts she conjures in order to disable foes and drive them away. She'll only use her claws if she's low on mana or finds that her spells are ineffective.
