Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
While many ultraviolets have scales on the edge of the draconic visual range, Invisible Purple's are ultra-ultraviolet, reflecting a hue that can be detected by magical devices but few if any draconic eyes. Humans generally can't tell the difference, being blind to ultraviolet in the first place, but it their skin is liable to be 'burnt' by too much exposure, similar to the effects of too much sun or in areas beneath where miscast air magic has blown a hole in the upper atmosphere. It certainly makes her memorable as she poles her way up and down the Aortic River, buying and selling wares.
When she was younger and more daring, Invisible Purple decided she wanted to be a sword-eater. Unfortunately, she took it too literally and actually ate the swords, crunching through them much like she would a cactus. She also tried so-called 'fire-eating', but... suffice to say, there's a reason she is a merchant and not a performer.
