Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

His name means "Old Castle" in Japanese. He is the first born son of Soko and Yuzuki, and is his mama's precious angel, and his daddy's pride. When he matured, he became one of the defenders of the colony, and that was one of the happiest days of his life. The happiest day of his life however, was the day that he and Tejina became mates. They had met while he was watching over some hatchlings while their parents hunted. The young ones were climbing all over him, chewing on his horns, and batting at his tail and face. Then the kids decided to play "Attack the Babysitter", Kojou was a great sport and played along with them. Meanwhile, Tejina was watching them with great amusement. Eventually she came over and asked if he needed any help. He told her that while he didn't need the help, he'd be glad for the company. They became friends shortly after, and then were courting. They became mates on a beautiful day just before spring. They love each other so much, and always will.
