Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lolth Eventide is the daughter of Loki Eventide and Faranath Noon. From the day she hatched, she was raised to be loyal to the self proclaimed Sunset Queen Uzarah Malflame. When she came of age, Uzarah commanded her to befriend her estranged son, Prishon Oasis, so that he would trust her. Lolth did as she was told, and by the time Prishon matured he not only trusted her but loved her. Under Uzarah's secret command, Lolth convinced Prishon to become her mate, and they had their first egg.

But while Lolth was still incubating the egg, it was stolen. When a frantic Lolth finally found it again, it had been transformed into a vampire egg. In horror she abandoned it to be raised by the vampires.

She and Prishon had three more children, but she could never trust herself to keep them safe and abandoned them all. Prishon eventually grew tired of her behavior and left her. Lolth is now a bitter and sad dragon, who blames herself for the loss of her children.
