Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Begonia is peppy and positive. He acts almost like a young hatchling, the way he's frequently running around and barking for attention. Exceptionally friendly and kind-hearted, Begonia will treat every stranger like family, especially if he senses they have a kind heart themselves. He's attentive to those around him. With such wide-eyed innocence, it's easy to assume he's slow or dull, but Begonia is surprisingly quite intelligent. He's a good listener, taking in everything he can from conversations and observations alike. Many accuse him of being a mind reader or possessing some manner of predictive magic, but, in fact, he just happens to know others very well. Begonia, while likeable and charismatic, is a pacifist through-and-through and refuses to fight under any circumstances. He won't even defend himself if it means hurting another, which causes many to label him weak. In all fairness, even if Begonia did lash out, his physical and magical strengths are borderline pathetic.
