Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Beige, despite her drab name, is an elegant, reserved, and wise dragon, with very pleasant sensibilities to her. Her calming aura is especially strong and can pacify even the most enraged of beasts. So, many dragons and people seek an escape with her. This includes her mate, Barbie, who doesn't seem happy until he's in her arms. She treats all her clients and those around her kindly and fairly and is always polite when receiving guests. She's willing to take as many clients as she is able to handle; those she denies are always provided reassurance that she will help them another time. Beige enjoys giving other dragons and humans a sense of peace, even when it tries her out.
