Shadow Walkers are a strange breed that possess the ability to slip between the planes of reality, becoming immaterial. This allows them to hide in the shadows, either hunting from the concealment of near invisibility or evading enemies. Though they become corporeal to mate or to eat, they spend most of the rest of their lives walking in the shadows. Shadow Walkers are wary creatures, though on dark autumn evenings when the leaves fall to swirl in the chill, rain damp air, they may be seen drifting out from the shadows.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Odin spent a lonely year waiting for his mate, Elvira. A lonely Christmas celebrating with the other bachelors of his clan, standing alone under the mistletoe on Christmas Eve, and a Valentine's Day watching as other dragons happily fell in love with each other. He spent so long waiting for her, and she is perfect for him, but he still just feels so alone in everything he does. Maybe it was because Odin had been a bachelor for so long, he hates the idea of having to look after his three adopted children, how much time he spends clearing up their mess, and how Elvira spends all her time running around after them. He feels like he could have enjoyed her company, had the children not been part of it, but then he feels guilty for these emotions. He loves Carrie, but her muteness is such a burden on the family, supporting Sookie is an endless cause of stress, but he has little more than loathing for his troublesome son.
