Kyanite Pygmies are a feisty breed, always full of energy. Playfully ebullient, these tiny and elusive dragons like to chase after one another, darting in and out of small alcoves and other such hiding places. They often dig small burrows underneath large trees and nibble on the roots for sustenance. They rely on the towering oaks’ formidable trunks and vast immensity to hide them from predators, something their small size aids in. Kyanites also secrete a weak toxin when threatened, which further protects them from intruders. However, this poison is not strong enough to affect larger creatures, humans included.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

Antonis is an oyster, because that's what he does, he hoists, or rather, "oysts". (Whenever he uses languages, he has a rather strong accent.) His community profile says a plethora of other things, though, so most people don't know what he really does except lie around, forage, and chat idly. When Antonis isn't worried about survival and is in the mood for some dangerous fun, he slinks around towns and cave networks, casing locations for anything he can carry, seemingly with little preference for what that is. When he spots something interesting and the owners are away, he sneaks in, hoists the item, and carries it away. Where things go, nobody is really sure. Antonis is usually beneath suspicion because his stump contains nothing except colorful pebbles and dried food, and as far as he knows, nobody has spotted him doing his oysting.
