Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Midnight's Jewel claims to be the most beautiful dragon in Dragcave but many, many other dragons and there caretakers would debate that. If she is not the most beautiful, she comes in at a close second in her opinion. But, her beauty is at times only scale deep. She will sometimes get into scuffles with Jewel of Dragcave about beauty, and then the true savageness of the wild dragons she comes from is seen, though they are not all just savage beasts.
