Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Warm Land is inexplicably jolly, likes the darkest days of the year, and happily shows off in flight with loops and aileron rolls, taxing as that is. He grooms so often that his clean scales seem to glow, and he decorates his crest with leaves and bits of mana, like a second crown. He's been teased by other dragons large and small for his fastidiousness and attention to his appearance knowing he's too nice to eat them. For reasons he doesn't grasp, Warm Land enjoys climbing trees and large structures and lying on the sturdiest parts to relax. He has occasionally fallen through a rooftop, so people suggest he stand decoratively in front yards instead.
