Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Heavy Snowfall" in Japanese. He is a son of Kouri and Shina, and is his mother's pride and joy. He has been best friends with Sika, Samui Desu, and Kogoeru since they were all dragonets. He is a brave dragon, and enjoys flying in blizzards. He also has a playful side and likes making snowballs and playing on the ice. But best of all, he loves cuddling with his mate Miyuki. They met when he saw her sliding around on a frozen pond. She looked so adorable, that he decided to join her. She was so wrapped up in her fun, that she didn't notice him, and freaked out when he "suddenly" appeared. After the initial shock, they decided to hang out for the day, and then the next, and the next. Soon they were best friends and spending all their time together. Then Hiroyuki gathered the courage to ask her to be his mate. She wholeheartedly agreed, and they've been together, happily in love ever since.
