Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Pelatet is known for his spitfire, cocky personality and extreme intelligence. It would be hard for anyone to believe that Pelatet's parents, who were Ferox, deeply disapprove of the young stud. He was initially brought into Mexa's clan, but through extensive searching he managed to find his parents right before he matured. They could not stand to call him their son. He was a tame dragon and that was disgusting. When Pelatet protesting this crude assessment, his father clawed at his face, leaving a scar he still bears today.
Any other dragon this might have made insecure, but it just made Pelatet angry. He often revisited them and played obnoxious pranks with his best friend, Dusty. The two are inseparable, like brothers. Dusty too had found his Ferox parents and they accepted both as their sons more or less.
