Hellhorse Dragons are foul-tempered, spirited creatures with tempestuous and violent dispositions. Torrents of scorching flames erupt from their bodies and can easily set their surroundings ablaze. Highly aggressive and territorial toward other dragon species, Hellhorses will tolerate others as long as they believe the association to be beneficial. Such alliances are tenuous in nature and frequently short-lived, as the slightest disagreement can easily escalate into a full-out brawl.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Conleth isn't quite as aggressive as other Hellhorses, but that really is difficult to tell with the naked eye. Having grown up under her domineering sister, Mare, Conleth has sort developed into a beta role within her family. She doesn't typically mess with or associate with other dragons, but rather avoids them. Of course, if she actually is confronted, Conleth has no issue showing her foe exactly why they should leave her be. Her intense fire and aggressive fighting style make it crystal clear that, despite her more avoidant nature, she is still a Hellhorse. She is surprisingly close with her mate, Blazing, though she can very often get into spats with him. Blazing is highly protective of her and freaks out at anyone who tries to approach her. Conleth gets easily annoyed by this behavior and will scold Blazing, saying she can defend herself, but he seldom seems to listen. Despite their tenuous relationship, the two never really stay angry at each other and remain close even so.
