Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Adramalech was not raised around other Hellfire's, his father was abused by the matriarch of his pack and, breaking from his instincts, fled the area for safety. He married into a new, friendlier family in which he raised young Adramalech. As such, Adramalech does not have the same petty insecurity of other males, rather he is very bold and outgoing and often intense. He enjoys wrestling and showing off his strength, although he'll only fight dragons he considers worthy. Adramalech is not a very smart dragon. He tends to be gullible and easily manipulated, case in point: his mate, Equestria. Equestria's obsession with destiny and astrology fascinates him, and he believes every bit of it, to the point where he revolves his life around it. He listens to everything Equestria says without question, which would be nice except Equestria can occasionally... abuse her power and make Adramalech do some regrettable things. But, he just assumes any problems are his fault, and his fault alone.
