Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Adeltaen loves hatchlings, but he has an embarrassing "condition". Most females will not dare mate with him for fear of their children inheriting his condition. He doesn't let this get him down, however, and he is in love with the pink dragon Deltha. At first, she shunned him like the others did. As time went on, she grew to find his courting antics charming—he would warm the eggs that weren't even his own, he would play with the hatchlings, he even had an eye for the most beautiful gems which he would leave in Deltha's nest. Eventually, he won her over. Although he is not her only mate, he is now proud to be the most trusted dragon in the cave when it comes time to babysit. He hates vampires and green dragons for their violent, egg-threatening behaviors. Any vampire wishing to reproduce in his cave must wait until he's out—and face the consequences later. Oddly, he will still raise young vampires and green dragons with the same tenderness as he would any other breed.
