This breed of dragon results from eggs or hatchlings that have been neglected. They are usually rebellious, not obeying their masters, sometimes even attacking them. However, their neglect as a hatchling leaves them crippled, and they are weak compared to other breeds, causing them to stay with their masters for protection.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Peaceable saw something move in the fire pit. The ashes had cooled, and a badly burned hatchie lay quiet. He ran with the hatchling to the infirmary, placing the suffering babe in his mother's care. A quick check revealed none of the eggs or hatchling of the Garden were missing. In a coma, the mystery hatchling muttered "Naza, Nah-Zah" repeatedly. Peaceable spent all his free time at the bedside, and started repeating the sound, "Naza," almost in prayer with it.
Against all odds, the young dragon recovered, and Peaceable adopted the hatchling, raising it to adulthood with all the tender care he could give. Extremely wary and nervous with strangers, he adores his adopted family, the only place he has felt safe or loved. But they could not undo his pain, and when meeting other dragons, he narrows his eyes, turning from them with a warning hiss, "I am Naza from the ashes, beware!"
