Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vensiir used to worship death, flying to the scene of recent battles between Nworset and the human kingdom of Snowpoint which borders it on the south. It recently came out that this was because of a metaphysical parasite that fed on his soul and forced him in turn to harvest souls of the recently dead to cope. A sunsong by the name of WaeZ discovered the problem and convinced him to go to a soulpeace who could expunge the thing. He still sometimes wants to eat souls, but he is no longer antisocial and spiteful. He still struggles with his reputation throughout Nworset, but with WaeZ helping, he has begun to learn how to be a functional member of society again. He has taken a job in the militia, as he is surprisingly good at fighting, but hopes for the opportunity to learn a trade and distance himself from death. He might love WaeZ with more than friendship, but he doesn't understand his own emotions enough to admit it to anyone.
