Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dragontown's famous Yuletide pantomime plays are a fusion of two similar draconic and human traditions, with roles played by a mixture of humans and dragons. The plots are paper-thin, the acting over-the-top, and the characters mere caricatures, but nobody goes to these plays for subtlety or nuance. They go to cheer the heroes, boo the villains, and sing along with the actors, as audience participation is a huge part of the appeal.

The controlled chaos of pantomime season almost drove Duitu back to Roaring Lion Productions, but she persevered, finding a way to manage the more finicky spells when performers had a tendency to ad-lib and no ability to act and cast spells at the same time. Most plays now include Loyal Companion, a largely-silent magi who wanders through when Lead Hero needs help (and casts the necessary spells without being obvious about it). Duitu plays Loyal Companion herself most years, because that way she knows the spellwork will be right.
