Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

While human visitors to Dragontown have their pick of places to stay, draconic visitors larger than a pygmy dragon find their options more limited. Yikutua decided to address the problem by starting a hotel especially for dragons. This proved a harder task than she had anticipated. Building the hotel was just a matter of adapting Goldenmage Assembly construction spells, but finding ways to accommodate all of the different dragons that visited Dragontown was another matter. What would work for a black marrow would repulse a lumina, while what a mint found impossibly large would be cramped quarters for a stone. As for diet, she needed to have everything on hand from ham to ash to fish (she drew the line at other dragons, though). Yikutua has worked out most of the pressing problems, but still dreads the day when a vampire or plated colossus will show up wanting a room for the night.
