Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Horse is bashful but prone to rambling once he begins talking about a topic. He spends his free time studying defensive magic "just in case" and observing life around his lake, or when there are children around, telling meandering stories about whatever he can think of. More so than talking himself, though, Horse enjoys listening to others tell him about the world, even about goings-on that should not concern him at all, such as what a particular neighbor family has been doing in a tiny town that he could never set foot in himself. He has a large extended family of waterhorses and ridgewings and has made a lot of friends, too. Though he has to stay in or around water and can't venture out for too long, he's perfectly happy with where he is.
