Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Elheir was a female Albino who had felt that she deserves more than the other dragons. When she hatched into the world, her owner absolutely spoiled her rotten, giving her anything she ever yearned for. The extra attention given to Elheir should have actually been given to three older hatchlings and they died soon afterwards. Once the owner found out what happened, Elheir was left to herself and found that being alone was not something she enjoyed. Any interactions with the other dragons beforehand had made them bitter towards her and the only one she ever felt slightly friendly towards was Gile, but he had forsaken the rest of the group a while ago, leaving her with absolutely no one. She still tries to act the way she used to be, with her bully-like attitude and arrogant stance, but being left out has become a norm and the Albino has a constant air of gloom about her.
