Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s chubby and pink with a faint rose-like smell.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Keypad, the Ultimate Bumper, bumps into obstacles a lot and is covered in minute scratches and bruises. The adults and her confused peers point out that she can very well sense (if not see) trees and signs and other things but collides with them anyway. Neighbors are stopped from prodding her in the right direction because she likes being the Ultimate Bumper, and she will retain her title by bumping into things more than anyone else does. There are no other contenders for Keypad's title. Most things within a thirty-step radius of her parents' tunnel smell faintly of flowers.
