Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When Soul Cleanser was a very young hatchling, he witnessed his best friend being attacked and killed by a zombie dragon. The experience left a lasting impression on the Soulpeace Dragon, and once he reached adulthood, he chose to dedicate his life to becoming a Sacred Warrior Dragon, a special elite class that seeks to monitor the balance between good and evil within the dragon race. For a long time, his chosen calling forced Soul Cleanser to travel endlessly, but when he encountered Sol Orb's ragtag clan he found himself seamlessly meshing into their number. Despite his initial worries that tying himself to an existing dragon clan would interfere with his duties as a Sacred Dragon Warrior, Soul Cleanser soon came to realize that his new allies were more of an asset than a liability. Soul Cleanser's place with his new dragon 'family' was cemented when he met and fell in love with Mystic Purity, particularly when Luna Orb and Wolf Silver's encouragement helped the pair become mates.
