Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Azure Wendigo sorts mail for Nworset's postal system. She sometimes feels bad around the holidays when she hands off massive quantities of packages for Tktaka to deliver around town. Tktaka always says she doesn't mind because she takes an extra lap back to the post office (and an extra stop at the coffee shop for a refill). Still, Azure thinks she should work the routes too, since solstices are traditionally migratory anyways. The problem is, she has a horrible scar on her right wing from a cursed dragon-slaying lance so flying is nearly impossible for her. She has despised humans ever since she received the wound—a horrible reward for her attempts to bring yuletide cheer to Northpoint.
Sometimes, interesting things come through the mail. For example, once, Azure found a buzzing envelope for Vavi Nyn. Upon its receipt, Vavi told Tktaka that she had ordered a queen from another apiarist to diversify her hives. When Tktaka got back to the office she told Azure, "It was a letter bee."
