Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

James Laurette Lagarde-Shimshon has been adopted into the Clan of Skye, though he biologically comes from a long line of Laurettes and Jameses. He is rather effeminate, so many mistakenly call him 'Laurette' instead of 'James', which annoys him to no end. He will not take a mate who shares his name, and no non-Laurette non-James dragon is interested in him, so he remains unmated.

When not suffering from fits of angst about his unfortunate name and family, James likes to practice making his fire as cold as he possibly can; rather than burning like normal flames, it can make water freeze and a mammal's hair stand on end.
