Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is exceptionally playful and grass springs up wherever it lays.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Warm in Here is large and gentle, the only child in her family who grew too heavy to be carried by either parent before she turned ten. She is interested in colorful rocks and anything sea-related. She would keep a collection of stuff she likes if she had somewhere to put them, since her flock moves around too much to make amassing a collection feasible. Warm in Here is tired of viewing the world from the clouds and wants to settle down sometime. Her many siblings and cousins say that it's dangerous down there and safety is one of the reasons they spend more time in the sky than on the ground. She's certain that with her stockiness and quickly developing magic ability, she can handle anything, especially if she can make some friends, too.
