White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Siobhalta is remarkably civilized for a dragon. Since her first encounter with humans rather than dragons she has been fascinated by those little unwritten rules they impose upon themselves. Although her father Dealan is wrathful against all humans except Mirhana, Siobhalta will often wander off far outside the borders of the clan's lands, studying human villages from afar and peeking through their windows after sunset. If she had been able to write, she would have described how these creatures would not eat in a 'normal' way but use all sorts of wooden and metal tools, she would have described all the correct phrases and handshakes required when meeting a new person, all variations that exist in manners between 'classes', which she deems something like the variations between different dragon species.

Siobhalta tries to bring along Siothchanta or her other sisters and show them all these fascinating behaviours, but her relatives just sigh and leave her alone with her weird hobby.
