It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Lavender Sky has a very long line of lineage. Lavender is her nick name, and she prefers to be called that. She is very caring, like a mother cat. Lavender will watch over the young dragons, even when most other mothers would have left them. Lavender Sky's mother showed this kindness to her, so she thought that passing it on was the correct thing to do. The other hatchlings can play more, and enjoy being a child, as she is looking out for other dragons that may be dangerous. She often has to scold the children, but she loves each of them with all her heart. She is always disappointed if one of them gets abandoned. She is very picky about grooming, and a lot of the males like her. Lavender Sky, overall, is a perfect dragon.
