Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

In exchange for a large amount of livestock and gems, Leaneen will lend his power to any nation.  In times of war, many kings have paid this hefty price and sent the dragon to destroy their enemy.  He creates gales to knock down homes, uproot trees, and ruin crops, sends down lightning to scatter troops, and floods the land.  The villagers of the destroyed homes christened him Leaneen after the demon of storms.  He does not care who he works for, and will attack the same nation he was working for just days before if another pays him enough.  His actions have made him a target for dragon hunters, and so he cannot stay in one place for too long, however, he has fathered several children throughout his life.
