Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Chewbananaka is the hairiest banana in the Madder Jungle. He achieved this remarkable title by wearing a hula skirt harness. When he came through the jungle with one skirt around his neck, one around his waist, and several more with one end tied to each of these supporting loops, he was promptly voted "Hairiest Banana" by the administrative committee. He has kept this attire to be his signature fashion and wears it all the time as he goes around supporting wBLAm the Bananagunslinger with his outlaw charm, law-enforcement, and general coolness. Chewbananaka would never expose wBLAm's weakness, but the reality is that he is the only one who can sail the duo's ship, a large raft known as the Millenium Banana. He says they can sail the Kestrel Run rapids in five... well, he isn't too consistent. Usually he says 'five miles per gallon' or some other strange unit.
