Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Known as the 'Night Terror', when the skies darken, Rhodd awakens. Lighting up the sky with his eerie glow, the green fury sweeps across the velvety heavens, pouring his wrath on the villages that lie below, turning innocent citizens into victims overnight. Relief comes as the sun dawns over the stained horizon, as Rhodd retreats to his lair, an abandoned castle. The crumbling walls hidden deep in the mountains count as a perfect retreat, and his days are spent dangling upside down from the bell tower; wings wrapped around him muscly body like a bat. Any lost travellers who find themselves there will be chased away by a pair of snapping jaws, and the second they think they've found safety, a ball of hellfire will crash down upon them, leaving only ashes. His reign of terror seems to be endless with any challengers finding themselves in an empty grave, so the villagers live on hoping that one day, one miraculous day when the torment will end.
