White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sneachd is remarkably adventurous and fierce for a White dragon, a species which is normally not so outspoken in character. Although no White will use violence, she is witty and if insulted, she always has something to say in return. She often roamed around the land belonging to her clan, Mac Dealain, founded by her father Dealan, and brought back all sorts of hurt creatures in order to nurse and heal them. Dealan, a fierce Gold and a true hunter, would not tolerate this within his cave; fortunately a smaller cave was discovered near her old home, but distant enough to keep out of her fathers way, and this is now the starting point for all her wanders. Sneachd now spends her days foraging for edible plants, finding and nursing wounded creatures, and visiting her mother and siblings that still live next door.
