Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

The first daughter of Aeya and Sojourner. Unlike her crippled mother, she has the ability to fly and loves zipping through the clouds and over rural villages. Granted, she cannot keep herself in the air very long; her tiny wings tend to give out the longer and farther she soars. Shisa is incredibly shy and very dependent upon her parents, hence why she has yet to leave the protection of her father. She is never lonely, however, the paper dragon hatchlings her family adopted are always there to keep her company and provide for rather interesting playmates. They don't have to worry about getting singed because Shisa cannot breathe fire!
